Yin Yoga is Simple but not necessarily Easy. Many poses can be more effective if props are applied. The purpose of the props is to give support to our body, so we can relax our muscles and mind. When practiced mindfully, these passive activities can open our deeper tissues such as the joints, ligaments, deep fascia networks. The meditative approach of Yin Yoga calms our body and mind, and it is a great balance to our modern daily Yang life style of Doing and Thinking.
